Shruti specialises in criminal law.

She obtained her master's degrees in domestic Criminal Law and International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she gained experience as a legal advisor at 'Stichting Rechtswinkel Bijlmermeer' (legal aid clinic) and as an intern at the Public Prosecution Service. During her studies, she also chaired the 'Stichting Rechtswinkel Bijlmermeer' and study association 'M.P. Vrij'.

Since 2022, Shruti has worked at the criminal law section of Prakken d'Oliveira; since 2023 she continues her position as a defense lawyer.
