Michiel Pestman

Michiel Pestman is a criminal lawyer specializing in cases with an international dimension. His areas of expertise include terrorism, the intelligence and security services, (international) activism, international humanitarian and criminal law, extradition law, and more recently food litigation. He advises individuals and organizations in the Netherlands and abroad. He has represented clients before the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Yugoslavia Tribunal (ICTY), the Cambodia Tribunal (ECCC), the Special Court for Sierra Leone (SCSL) as well as the International Court of Justice in The Hague. He teaches regularly in his fields of expertise and is a Lecturer at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law.
