Chris Dekker specializes in liability for human rights violations of businesses and governments.

She studied International Relations at King's College London and studied Law at Leiden University. She obtained her LLM in Transnational and Criminal Law cum laude at the University of Amsterdam, where she also worked as a student assistant in a research project on secondary liability for international crimes and serious human rights violations.

Chris works has been working at the International law and Human Rights department at Prakken d’Oliveira since 2022, and since 2025 she works there as a lawyer.
