On 14 December 2023 Mr. Salih Mustafa was convicted on appeal by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (hereafter: KSC) to a prison sentence of 22 years for the war crimes murder, torture and arbitrary detention. In this case Mustafa was also ordered to pay Euro 207.000 in individual damages to 8 (in)direct victims of the crimes at issue. The victims in this case were represented by lawyers Anni Pues as Victims' Counsel, and Brechtje Vossenberg as Victims' Co-counsel.
