On Friday 3 October 2025, the Supreme Court will publicly deliver its ruling in the State's appeal in cassation against the judgement of the Court of Appeal The Hague of 12 February 2024. This ruling will be delivered publicly and can be followed online via a livestream in Dutch and English.On 12 February 2024, the Court of Appeal The Hague ordered the State to cease all (actual) export and transit of F-35 components destined for Israel. In the Court's opinion, there is a clear risk that Israel will commit serious violations of international humanitarian law in the Gaza Strip with F-35 fighter jets. The State appealed this judgement in cassation, and the Supreme Court heard the parties on 6 September 2024.On Friday 29 November 2024, the Advocate General advised the Supreme Court to dismiss the State's appeal in cassation against the judgement of the Court of Appeal The Hague and thus to uphold the order to halt the export of F-35 components to Israel.
