On 27 October 2011, the international side of the Nuon Chea Defence Team sent a letter to the Cambodian co-investigating judge You Bunleng calling upon him to resign. The letter comes following a decision by the Pre-Trial Chamber in which the international judges state that ‘major procedural irregularities’ were committed by the co-investigating judges during the Case 003 investigations. Human Rights Watch recently published a scathing piece about the co-investigating judges.

Read the letter to Youn Bunleng in English and Khmer.
