During the hearing today, the Court in Rotterdam adjourned the case against Wesam al D. in order to examine a witness from the Dutch embassy. The witness in question is Richard Gerding, Dutch embassy staff member. During a session to be held on 15 September at 2 pm, Gerding will be examined on the circumstances of Al D.’s detention in the federal prison in Washington DC.
