Amsterdam, 15 December 2011 – Liesbeth Zegveld received the Clara Meijer-Wichmann medal in the Amstel Church in Amsterdam. Each year around Human Rights Day on December 10th, the Human Rights League (in Dutch: 'Liga voor Rechten van de Mens'), in cooperation with the foundation J’Accuse, awards this human rights prize to a person or organization that deserves special recognition for their commitment to defending human rights.
